Warning
galpy
uses a left-handed Galactocentric coordinate frame, as is common in studies of the kinematics of the Milky Way. Care should be taken when using the coordinate transformation routines below for coordinates in a right-handed frame, the routines do not always apply and are only tested for the standard galpy
left-handed frame.
